DAILY TOUR PROGRAM

Day 1 - Monday České Budějovice - 2 nights

The tour officially starts in PRAHA (Prague). AM arrival to Praha - depart to South Bohemian hometown of Budweiser beer - ČESKÉ BUDĚJOVICE / theroyal town founded in 1265. Tour the Budweiser/ Budvar Brewery and sample the genuine Budweiser beer. PM Guided city tour will take us to the center of the town with a magnificent square, one of the largest in Europe. It is lined with Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque houses with arcades and Samsonʼs Fountain in its center (from 1727). Free time at leisure. The evening is reserved for our WELCOME DINNER in the official restaurant of the Budweiser / Budvar Brewery.

 

Day 2 – Tuesday            (B)

Day trip to ČESKÝ KRUMLOV - the jewel of South Bohemia is a UNESCO World Heritage Site universally recognized as a unique remnant of historic urbanism. The old town preserves, virtually intact and still vital, an unparalleled ensemble of Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque structures. Among the attractions is the second largest castle complex in the Czech Republic. Guided city tour followed by visiting the Eggenberg Brewery with brewing tradition since 14th century. At present the brewery produces 5 types of beer: 2 types of draft beer (grade 8 and 10); 3 types of lager and Dia beer for diabetics as well as Light non-alcoholic beer for drivers. Four bottle pack gift set will be received at the end of the brewery visit. Free time for shopping of renowned Bohemian Garnets in the factory store, other souvenirs or a chance to visit the chateau.

 

Day 3 - Wednesday Pilsen - 1 night     (B)

After breakfast, depart to PILSEN. This West Bohemian metropolis with 170,000 inhabitants is the fourth largest city in the Czech Republic. Its historical predecessor was a former watch castle dating back to the 10th century. Pilsen is known for its famous Pilsen beer - Pilsner Urquell. On May 6, 1945, the city was liberated by the US Army.

 

Guided city tour includes the city center, “Thank you America!” monument and more. Visiting the Brewery museum situated in historical building, in which there was a malt house as early as the 15th century is another highlight of the day as well as touring the famous Pilsner Urquell Brewery. You will learn about the unique brewing process for Pilsner Urquell, the only original of Pilsner type beer. Rest of the day at leisure.

 

Day 4 - Thursday Prague - 3 nights      (B)

Chodovar Brewery - Beer Spa and Restaurant” - that’s on today’s schedule. Not just beer consumption, but also taking a bath in the beer! Yes, we’ll visit the first beer spa location in the world and enjoy Real Beer Baths. You immerse yourself in the bath while drinking a cold Chodovar světlé lager while smelling the warm hops aroma coming from your bathtub as you sweat your demons out. The baths procedures are an original curative spa therapy combining remedial effects of warm mineral water, beer, ingredients for brewing beer, and products of the brewing process. After your beer bath, you’ll spend another 20 minutes in “a relax room”, where you rest wrapped up in blankets and enjoy another glass of beer. This is to help your skin absorb all the nutrients from the bath, as well as help you relax. After this heavenly treatment, you’ll relax while getting special half-body massages. The lunchtime
will be reserved at the restaurant “Ve Skále” - a stylish restaurant and a small brewery museum situated in a part of a unique rock labyrinth of 800-year-old brewery cellars. The ancient lager cellars from the 12th century, cut in granite massif, are nowadays still used for cease fermenting. Apart from a wide range of Czech and foreign cuisine, the restaurant provides its customers with a unique opportunity to taste natural yeast beer drought straight from the stock tub of the rock cellar. PM, continue to our hotel in PRAHA (Prague). Free time at leisure.

 

Day 5 – Friday  (B, D*)

AM Grand city tour illustrating its thousand-year history, including the Prague Castle area, Charles Bridge, Old Town Square and more. During your lunch in “Beer Club”, you’ll have a chance to explore a wide variety of Czech and foreign beers. The most popular local beers are the Sour Cherry, Coffee, Banana, Nettle, Chilli and others. Evening is scheduled at the malt- house and brewery founded in 1499 - “U Fleků”. Enjoy the most famous of Prague's beer and cabaret show - it means good food, great beer and excellent entertainment.

 

Day 6 – Saturday      (B, D)

This day at your leisure. Perhaps take a walk in Wenceslas Square or look into the tiny museums of “Golden Lane” at the Hradčany Castle area, or sip Pilsner beer in Staré Město.Our Farewell dinner with Folklore Show will conclude your wonderful vacation full of pleasant memories. Dancers and musicians dressed in traditionalcostumes will entertain, excite and amuse you during two and half hours of performance while you enjoy unlimited beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverage.

 

Day 7 – Sunday      (B)

After breakfast, your tour ends this morning, leaving you with pleasant memories of a wonderful vacation.

Day 7 – Sunday              (B)

AM tour the VYŠEHRAD - The fortress was originally built in the 10th century. Local legend holds that Vyšehrad was the location of the first settlement which would later become Prague. Situated within the castle is the Cathedral of Saint Paul & Peter, as well as the Vyšehrad cemetery also known as Slavín, the final resting place of many composers, artists, sculptors, writers, and those from the world of science and politics such as Antonín Dvořák, Božena Němcová, and others. Transfer to Petřín Hill for a chance to visit a replica of the Eiffel Tower or a mirror maze leading to the remarkable lifelike painting of the “Battle the Swedes on the Charles Bridge” from 1620. Transfer by funicular to the bottom of the hill. Rest of the day at leisure. During your free time, you may visit a nearby church known for the little statue of Infant Jesus of Prague or take a walk to visit the National Theater on the east side of the Vltava River, or continue walking to Wenceslas Square. Rest of the afternoon at leisure. If you like to have served your beer in a non-traditional style, then you will like to be served by train! We’ll take you to the unique restaurant
where trains are if full speed in delivering beer to your table.

 

Day 8 – Monday            (B)

Enjoy a free day to further explore the sights of PRAGUE, or perhaps indulge in last-minute shopping for some wonderful bargains including the world-famous Bohemian crystal, garnet jewelry, souvenirs, and many handicrafts. You may even visit the mini brewery “U Medvídků” to try the strongest beer in the world: XBeer 33.

 

Day 9 – Tuesday            (B)

After breakfast, your tour ends this morning, leaving you with pleasant memories of a wonderful vacation.
