Arrival at PRAGUE airport and transfer to the hotel. Prague sparkles during the festive season. The Christmas markets have even been voted the most beautiful in the world by USA Today. Discover the amazing Czech Christmas markets of Prague that spring up all over the city. The Christmas season, the most magical time of year, has an unforgettable atmosphere in Prague. Elegant old houses, palaces and towers, cobblestoned streets and baroque squares lit with gas lamps enchant visitors. The flashiest and biggest Christmas Market, the one you’re most likely to see, is the one on the Old Town Square. It’s got a ridiculously large decorated Christmas tree, a petting zoo, a stage for song and dance presentations usually performed by adorable small children, a viewing platform, and all the usual stalls selling trinkets, comforting hot drinks, and holiday snacks. Welcome dinner.

Day 3 – Wednesday 4
Immerse yourself in Czech Christmas culture on this 2-hour tour of Prague with our local guide. Learn about traditions, stop by the best Christmas markets in the city. What are you supposed to do at these markets? Eat! Drink! Be merry! Even in this year’s unseasonably warm weather, a warm drink is essential. The traditional choice is mulled wine, but if you’ve got a serious sweet tooth, try the medovina, or Czech honey-wine. For the non-alcoholically-inclined, there are the delicious warm apple or pear ciders.

At that time the town rivaled Prague itself in importance. You'll visit  the unique Gothic Cathedral of St. Barbara - the patron of saint miners and other important sites. PM, visit the “Bone church” - Ossuary is artistically decorated by more than 40.000 human skeletons.
