DAILY TOUR PROGRAM

Day 1 - Friday 1
Depart your hometown and take an overnight flight across the Atlantic. Enjoy in-flight entertainment and meal service as you travel to start your vacation.
Day 2 - Saturday 2 (D) PRAGUE - 2 nights
Arrival at PRAGUE airport and transfer to the hotel. Prague sparkles during the festive season. The Christmas markets have even been voted the most beautiful in the world by USA Today. Discover the amazing Czech Christmas markets of Prague that spring up all over the city. The Christmas season, the most magical time of year, has an unforgettable atmosphere in Prague. Elegant old houses, palaces and towers, cobblestoned streets and baroque squares lit with gas lamps enchant visitors. The flashiest and biggest Christmas Market, the one you’re most likely to see, is the one on the Old Town Square. It’s got a ridiculously large decorated Christmas tree, a petting zoo, a stage for song and dance presentations usually performed by adorable small children, a viewing platform, and all the usual stalls selling trinkets, comforting hot drinks, and holiday snacks. Welcome dinner.
Day 3 - Sunday 3 (B, L)
Immerse yourself in Czech Christmas culture on this 2-hour tour of Prague with our local guide. Learn about traditions, stop by the best Christmas markets in the city. What are you supposed to do at these markets? Eat! Drink! Be merry! Even in this year’s unseasonably warm weather, a warm drink is essential. The traditional choice is mulled wine, but if you’ve got a serious sweet tooth, try the medovina, or Czech honey-wine. For the non-alcoholically-inclined, there are the delicious warm apple or pear ciders.
Day 4 - Monday 4 (B, L) ČESKÉ BUDĚJOVICE 2 - nights
PM transfer to ČESKÉ BUDĚJOVICE. The royal town founded in 1265. In the center of the town is a magnificent square, one of the largest in Europe. Naturally you will find traditional Christmas markets there. From November 26 to December 23, Přemysl Otakar II Square in České Budějovice will be the place to see traditional crafts and customs in action. Here, you can try lots of good things to eat and drink, listen to carols or buy gifts. All these nice Advent activities are enriched by listening to buglers and pipers or by watching folklore groups. Once you have had your fill of mulled wine and punch, come and take optional side trip: to visit the Budweiser Brewery. The rest of the day you may enjoy the "Taste the magic of Christmas" program.
Day 5 - Tuesday 5 (B, L)
Advent Holiday: The eve of St. Nicholas Day:
Meet the St. Nicholas, the Angel who represent the Good, and the Devil representing the Evil.
Guided city tour followed by a trip to medieval town of ČESKÝ KRUMLOV. In Český Krumlov you can enjoy the picturesque streets, traditional Czech Advent market with lots of scented good things to eat, Christmas concerts, and a live nativity scene. The magic of the city during Advent includes the public lighting of the Christmas tree, singing carols and much more. Guided city tour followed by Garnet jewelry & Christmas shopping in the Christmas Market in the town and around the Castle.
Day 6 - Wednesday 6 (B, L) PRAGUE - 5 nights
AM depart to Prague. Enjoy a full day on your own by visiting with friends or relatives, or by experiencing Prague's Christmas Market. Christmas in Prague is full of concerts, exhibitions and other cultural events. In addition to traditional Czech Christmas carols, you may also consider to take the Advent cruise which is a peaceful cruise on the Vltava river with a Christmas theme. The aroma of mulled wine, Czech carols and stunning views of seasonally decorated Prague will get you in the Christmas spirit.
Day 7 - Thursday 7 (B, L)
Day trip to KUTNÁ HORA. You'll visit the unique Gothic Cathedral of St. Barbara - the patron of saint miners and other important sites. PM, visit the “Bone church” - Ossuary is artistically decorated by more than 40.000 human skeletons. One of the most fascinating artistic works is the big chandelier of bones that lies in the center of the Church of Bones. The immense chandelier contains at least one of every human bone. Free time in Kutná Hora for shopping in Christmas Market & enjoying the rich cultural program. Later PM return to Prague.
Day 8 - Friday 8 (B, D)
WALK THROUGH PRAGUE´S ROYAL ROAD. Today we will follow in the footsteps of kings along this 400 year-old route, and view what their royal eyes looked upon. Nowadays the street is lined with souvenir shops, cafés and restaurants. Evening is reserved for our most popular DINNER PARTY with unlimited beer and wine consumptions / FOLKLORE PROGRAM full of MUSIC - DANCE and lots of FUN!
Day 9 - Saturday 9 (B, L)
AM Free time. PM visit the Prague’s most famous churches to view a Nativity scenes and OPTIONAL: to attend concerts performed the Czech and World Christmas carols.
Day 10 – Sunday 10 (B)
Enjoy a free day to further explore the sights of PRAGUE such as Prague Castle. The Christmas markets finally use the space of the largest castle complex in the world and attract visitors with high-quality range of carefully selected products. Perhaps you may indulge in the last minute shopping for some wonderful bargains including the world famous Bohemian crystal, the garnet jewelry, souvenirs and many handcrafts. There is music available everywhere and you may enjoy a concert.
Day 11 – Monday 11 (B)
After breakfast, your tour ends this morning, leaving you with pleasant memories of a wonderful vacation.
