Friday, April 24

Depart your hometown and take an overnight flight across the Atlantic. Enjoy in-flight entertainment and meal service as you travel to start your vacation.

Saturday 25  CALAIS - 1 night

The tour starts today after your arrival to BRUSSELS / Belgium airport. Transfer to CALAIS / France with stop in DUNKIRK. Visit the Dunkirk War Museum. From May 26 to June 4, 1940, Dunkirk was the theatre of the largest evacuation effort in military history: 338 000 Allied soldiers were evacuated on a flotilla of more than 800 ships. Discover the incredible story of Operation Dynamo with our exclusive 'Dynamo Tour', a trip back in time which pays tribute to all the allied soldiers involved in the operation and who created "The Dunkirk Spirit", a symbol of hope and resistance. Photographs, maps and military equipment help visitors understand this historic event. Later PM arrival to our hotel in CALAIS. Welcome dinner.


Sunday 26    CAEN - 2 nights

You may attend the morning Church services in the city. Before noon depart to CAEN. PM guided city tour followed by a free time.


Monday 27

AM we’ll continue our tour of the “Operation Overlord” area. It will take us into the American theater of operations. Driving west our first stop of the day will be in STE MERE EGLISE. It was here that the west flank of the landing beaches had to be secured early in the morning of June 6, 1944. Here we will visit the Airborne Museum dedicated to the 101st Division “Screaming Eagles” and the 82nd Division “All American”. We will also visit the church to view the beautiful stained glass windows also dedicated to these two divisions. A parachute still dangles precariously from the steeple with an effigy of an 82nd airborne trooper, John Steele, who was entangled there after the drop. Free time for lunch. After leaving St. Mere Eglise, our tour will continue into STE MARIE du MONT and drop down onto Utah Beach. Here we will have time to view the memorial before continuing over to Omaha Beach & Pointe du Hoc. On arrival at Omaha beach we will have time to reflect on the bloody slaughter of many young Americans that died here. After visiting Omaha beach we will climb the bluffs to overlook the beachhead area and visit St. Laurent-sur-Mer American Military Cemetery.

Tuesday 28
  ORLEANS- 1 night

AM depart Caen to ORLEANS. On the way we'll make a short stop in LE MANS and then continue to visit the Chateau Amboise. A place of residence for French kings from the 15th to the 19th centuries, its destiny is inextricably linked to the history of France. Numerous literary figures and artists were invited here, like Leonardo da Vinci whose tomb is preserved at the château. This royal château is thus the expression of French-style luxury. From its balconies, its roofs and its terraced gardens, visitors can take in the Loire landscape and delight in what the kings enjoyed. After free time for lunch, we'll continue to our hotel in ORLEANS.


Wednesday 29       NANCY- 1 night

After breakfast we’ll continue our journey to NANCY. This is  one of the major economical cities of the Lorraine region. Parts of the historical city center are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The guided city tour will take us to the most famous places. Place Stanislas, the town square was built by Stanislas, Duke of Lorraine and former King of Poland, in the 18th century. The Old City, including the St-Epvre basilique and square with many cafés and restaurants and other interesting sites.


Thursday 30 NÜRNBERG - 1 night      

AM depart to NÜRNBERG. PM visit to the Zeppelin Field on the immense Nazi Party Rally Grounds. After touring the Luitpold Parade Ground and the superb Documentation Center, we will visit the Palace of Justice, site of the 1946 War Crimes Trials. Rest of the day at leisure.


Friday, May 1 - Wednesday 6      PLZEŇ- 6 nights

Spectacular 6 day Pilsen Celebrations. Liberation Festival - program according to city schedule.

The daily program will be known by the end of March.

After breakfast, your tour ends this morning, leaving you with pleasant memories of a wonderful vacation.

Thursday 7             PRAGUE - 2 nights

Before noon transfer to Prague. WALK THROUGH PRAGUE´S ROYAL ROAD. Today we will follow in the footsteps of kings along this 400 year-old route, and view what their royal eyes looked upon. Nowadays the street is lined with souvenir shops, cafés and restaurants. Evening is reserved for our most popular DINNER PARTY with FOLKLORE PROGRAM full of MUSIC - DANCE and lots of FUN!


Friday 8       

Enjoy a free day to further explore the sights of PRAGUE such as Prague Castle. Perhaps you may indulge in the last minute shopping for some wonderful bargains including the world famous Bohemian crystal, the garnet jewelry, souvenirs and many handcrafts. There is music available everywhere and you may enjoy a concert.


Saturday 9

After breakfast, your tour ends this morning, leaving you with pleasant memories of a wonderful vacation. Transfer to Prague Václav Havel Airport. Going home!
