Day 1 - Friday 4
Depart your hometown and take an overnight flight across the Atlantic. Enjoy in-flight entertainment and meal service as you travel to start your vacation.
Day 2 - Saturday 5 (D) Advent Holiday - Meet St.Nicholas, the Angel representing Good, and the Devil representing Evil.
Arrive at the PRAGUE airport.Free time to relax or start to visit Christmas markets in Prague on your own,which spring up all over the city. This is an excellent opportunity for genuine Czech Christmas decorations and gift shopping. The Christmas season, the most magical time of year, has an unforgettable atmosphere in Prague. The flashiest and biggest Christmas Market you’ll most likely see is the one on Old Town Square. It’s got a decorated Christmas tree, a petting zoo, a stage for song and dance presentations usually performed by adorable small children, a viewing platform, and all the usual stalls selling trinkets, comforting hot drinks, and holiday snacks. Day 3 - Sunday 6 (B, L)
Start your morning with a guided city tour. Immerse yourself in Czech Christmas culture on a tour of Prague with our local guide. Learn about traditions, and stop by the best Christmas markets in the city. What are you supposed to do in these markets? Eat! Drink! Be merry! The traditional choice is mulled wine, but if you’ve got a serious sweet tooth, try the Medovina or Czech honey wine. For the non-alcoholically inclined, there are delicious warm apple or pear ciders.
Day 4 - Monday 7 (B, L) ČESKÉ BUDĚJOVICE 2 - nights
Day trip to ČESKÉ BUDĚJOVICE. The royal town was founded in 1265. In the center of the city is a magnificent square, one of the largest in Europe. Naturally, you will find traditional Christmas markets there. From November 26 to December 23, Přemysl
Otakar II Square in České Budějovice will be the place to see traditional crafts and customs in action. Here, you can try lots of good things to eat and drink, listen to carols, or buy gifts. All these nice Advent activities are enriched by listening to buglers and pipers or by watching folklore groups. In the afternoon, we’ll continue to see the medieval town of ČESKÝ KRUMLOV. In Český Krumlov, you can enjoy the picturesque streets, the traditional Czech Advent market with lots of scented good things to eat, Christmas concerts, and a live nativity scene. The magic of the city during Advent includes the public lighting of the Christmas tree, singing carols, and much more. Guided city tour followed by Garnet jewelry & Christmas shopping in the Christmas Market in the town and around the Castle.
Day 5 - Tuesday 8 (B, L)
Day trip to KUTNÁ HORA. You'll visit the unique Gothic Cathedral of St. Barbara, the patron saint of miners, and other important sites. Such as the “Bone Church” - Ossuary is artistically decorated by more than 40.000 human skeletons. One of the most fascinating artistic works is the big chandelier of bones that lies in the center of the Church of Bones. The immense chandelier contains at least one of every human bone. Free time in Kutná Hora for shopping in the Christmas Market & enjoying the rich cultural program. Later, PM,return to Prague.
Day 6 - Wednesday 9 (B, L) PRAGUE - 5 nights
Day trip to KARLOVY VARY, founded by the Bohemian King Charles IV in the 14th century. The town has been recapturing its former glory with its restored Baroque and Art Nouveau buildings, and people are rediscovering all the city has to offer. Tour the colonnade and taste the water from the 12 curative thermal mineral springs. Admire the beauty of both the historic and modern colonnades. PM, continue to MARIÁNSKÉ LÁZNĚ - the second largest spa resort in the Czech Republic, founded in the last century. Of the 140 mineral springs in the town, 39 are used for treating kidney, respiratory, and urinary disorders. Tour the Colonnade and the city center, including the Christmas Market.
Day 7 - Thursday 10 (B, D)
Enjoy a free day to explore the sights of PRAGUE, such as Prague Castle. You may indulge in last-minute shopping for wonderful bargains, including the worldfamous Bohemian crystal, garnet jewelry, Christmas souvenirs and ornaments, and
many handicrafts.There is music available everywhere, and you may enjoy a concert. The farewell dinner will be served in a local restaurant.
Day 8 - Friday 11 (B, L)
After breakfast, your tour ends this morning, leaving you with pleasant memories of a wonderful vacation and the enjoyment of Christmas gift shopping for your loved ones. Transfer to Prague Airport. Going home!
